I came across this article, yesterday, and am completely struck by it.
It has definitely inspired me, and I’ve decided to share it with you, in the hopes that it might inspire more people, as well.
I’d love if we could all catch the spirit of the gestures in the article and pay it forward in our own ways.
We don’t have to go big, as we all know that small gestures are often just as, if not more, meaningful than big ones.
So, please read the article and I challenge you to find a way to be inspired and help spread the kindness this holiday season.
Have to be honest, when I came across this article a few days ago, it touched my heart. My sister and I talked about it as we shopped on Friday night. We pretty much decided to try to pay someone’s balance this week. Just leave the few dollars for the person to be able to still have the active account. There is no reason not to help someone who is struggling, you never know, it could be your family next year.

We adopted a Sussex Family as part of our GS troop. It was an eye opening experience for Olivia, who went crazy at the store trying to make sure the family had a good Christmas.
While we were wrapping the gifts we got & the ones other families had donated, I mentioned to her that she needed to understand that if she sees anyone in Sussex wearing these outfits, she couldn’t say anything. At that point, it dawned on her that our ‘adopted family’ included a 10 year old girl and a 7 year old boy – both at Sussex.
She revised her Christmas list – it got shorter & much cheaper – all expensive (>$100) items came off.
I can’t wait to share this story with her tonight.
