1. If your husband had the BIG V and you got pregnant what would your first reaction be? For the dudes, what would your first reaction be if your wife told you she was pregnant after the Big V?
I’d be more than a little shocked, but at this point, if we’ve learned anything, it is that surprises of this kind can be wonderful.
You need to remember that Tiny Monkey showed up after being told I would never have any more children.
And here we are.
And it’s wonderful.
However, I will reiterate that I had a tubal ligation after having Tiny Monkey, so if Real Man also got fixed and then I got pregnant?
I might start going to church because that would truly be a miracle.

2. Best memory about this summer so far.
Watching the monkeys play with glow sticks in the new back yard the other night.
Utter joy and happiness.

3. How often do you change your sheets? Your kids sheets?

Every other week.

4. Having just gone through TSA, would you rather have a full-body scan or a pat-down?
Honestly, I don’t care.
I’m one of those people who says “You do whatever you need to do to keep me safe” and if that means we all get pat-downs, then we all get pat-downs.  If we all get full-body scans, then we all get full-body scans.  Keeps weapons off the planes, I’m cool with it.

5. Since it is fair time…what’s your favorite fair (county or state) memory?
Um, never been to a state or county fair.
Should probably make the trip up to the Meadowlands to go to the state fair, at some point.  The monkeys would love it.
However, since I’ve never been to one, I’ll say that I’ve always loved the St. Virgil’s carnival…our local carnival.
Went as a teenager and enjoyed the teenage aspects and now go as a parent and love watching my kids enjoy the kid aspects.
My favorite memory of it is last year when Real Man took all three monkeys on Pharoah’s Fury, which is one of those rides that is a big boat and swings back and forth, back and forth.
Looking up and seeing all the monkeys, especially Baby Monkey, with their hands up in the air, screaming with glee.
That would be my favorite memory of a “fair.”

  1. Haha, love your answer to number one. That would be definitely just short of a miracle (o:
