1. If you had $1,000 to donate to a charity, which would you choose?
Tough call. My friend, Mark, walks in the AIDS walk every year. So, that’s an option. Family members have passed away from cancer, so the ACS is also an option. My father and I suffer from diabetes, so that’s an option, as well. St. Jude’s Children’s Research hospital does amazing work for children, so that’s an option. I think I need a million so I can divvy it up better.
2. Snow days: Do you welcome them happily or are they a pain in your butt?
I welcome them happily. I love to have a day to play with my babies, and their excitement is contagious. I don’t understand, at all, people who moan and groan over snow days (unless finding child care is an issue, then I certainly understand their concern). More time with the kids. Never a bad thing.
3. What talent did you wish you had and why?
I wish I knew how to play a string instrument. Particularly the cello. So soulful. So mournful. Just love it.
4. Are you a news, politics or celebrity gossip junkie?
Wish I didn’t have to answer this, but I’d have to go with celebrity gossip junkie. Always have been.
5. What is your favorite “cocktail”? (Are you a beer person, a kiddie cocktail junkie, or perhaps your more the “Cosmo” kind?! Anything flies…doesn’t hafta be alcoholic!)
Shirley Temple, baby. My Mom’s Dad used to make me a mean Shirley Temple every time we were at their house.
