1. Where did you meet your spouse and did you instantly know it was love?
I met him my Junior year of high school, at lunch. I had seen him around, so I knew who he was, but we didn’t start talking until our Junior year. See, Kim had lunch 4th period and I had gym then. Kim had gym when I had lunch. So, I cut gym and went to lunch with Kim, and then I’d do attendance with Kim during her gym (she had knee problems) and the gym teachers would remember seeing me, so I’d get out of the cuts. Kim, Real Man, our friend Joe, and I all sat together. Real Man was absolutely the cutest boy I had ever seen and was smart and funny and sweet and kind. I asked him to go to the prom with me and the rest is history. (Okay, well, not exactly, but sorta.) We started out as friends, but that blossomed into love.
2. What is your favorite room in your house?
The living room. I love sitting on the couch when the sun is coming through the picture window and reading. It’s a spacious, uncluttered room (most of the time) and it’s just relaxing.
3. Can you wiggle your ears?
Yes. Yes, I can.
4. What is your evening ritual?
Dinner. Clean up and make the lunches for the next day. Read to the kids. Put the kids to bed. Watch some tv and hang and chat with Real Man until we fall asleep.
5. How many hours of sleep do you need to function?
As a Mom, I can get by on very little sleep. Eventually, I need to catch up, but I can go a few days on just a few hours. This will be evident soon as we begin doing the nighttime dance of no sleep with the baby.
