We spent yesterday afternoon decorating for Christmas.
The kids absolutely love to decorate, and this year, they actually did the tree without too much help from Real Man and I.
The decorations are a little clumpy, in spots, but I think it looks pretty good.
We got a kick out of this ornament.
It was given to us by my “Aunt” Linda when I was pregnant with Monkey Girl, 10 years ago.
Who knew how many times it would be appropriate???
And, once all was said and done, I went outside to take a picture from the driveway.
I think there is nothing like a house at the holidays, even without the outdoor lights. It just looks SO much homier and festive, especially with the tree in the window.
It looks beautiful. I always feel great sitting in the living room with the Christmas tree or pulling up in the driveway at night with it lit. We don’t have outdoor lights, but have our tree in the big window, too. I miss it the first couple of days after we take it all down.
